My child has never played—where do we start? Check out our registraiton tab to learn about our program overviews, age categories and our other offerings.
Do you offer beginner or “learn to play” programs? All new players are welcome to join in their age appropriate divisions, we curerntly do not offer learn to play or try it, but check back often, we are always offering more programs based on ice availability.
What level of skating is required? A basic level of skating should be achieved prior to registering for hockey however at the U7 level, we do have players who are hiting the ice for the first time, and they quickly learn to skate.
Can we try hockey before committing? WMHA has a comprehensive prorated refund program, because our programming is based on player registration, we do not have a try before commiting plan.

When does registration open and close? Opens June 1st and closes July 31. There is a $200 late registration fee for returning players after July 31 and registration after that date is not guarunteed.
What are the fees for each division? Our fee schedule for the upcoming season can be found here.
What do fees include (ice time, refs, tournaments, jerseys)? House league fees include all regular ice times (practice, games, skills (U9 U11), Christmas Jamboree participation, use of jerseys, officials and league playoffs at the end of the season.
Are there payment plans or financial assistance options? Payment plans are outlined in our fee schedule, financial assisance options can be found here.
What is your refund policy? WMHA has a comprehensive prorated refund policy, it can be found here. There are always special circumstances, please contact the office for more info.
Can my child play if we register late? WMHA usually has ongoing registration into the season in each division however certain divisions may fill and at that time we will be closing registration for the full divisions.
